How to clean leather?
Simply use soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Above all, the mistake not to make is to soak the leather. Then, you should not dry it directly in the sun or near a heat source. These two actions make the leather strap very hard and too rigid, causing cracks at the slightest bend.
Tools for cleaning white leather
White leather is a little more delicate than other colors. Even the place where it is stored must be very clean and dry, otherwise mold may appear and cause yellowish stains which are very unsightly. A simple scratch can be very visible because of the very light background. Regular cleaning should not be too abrasive to preserve the white color which is very delicate. We therefore use vaseline which we put on cotton to rub gently.
